I am extremely excited to continue to serve as your counselor at the "GREAT" C.H. Gullatt Elementary School! My primary role is to develop and implement a school wide counseling program that will best support students’ academic, personal/social, and career development. I also serve as our school's Family Engagement Facilitator and Section 504 Chair.
I began my career with Fulton County Schools as a Prekindergarten Instructional Assistant in 2007. I was subsequently promoted to School Counselor in 2009. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Mercer University; a Master of Education in School Counseling from Cambridge College, and an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. My other professional experiences include years spent with the Department of Family and Children Services, Department of Public Health, Department of Mental Health, and the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Aside from work, I enjoy spending quality time with my son, Cannon, reading, attending Atlanta Hawks' games, singing, dancing, bowling, billiards, video and board games. My family and I reside in Douglas County.
Words cannot express how much I thoroughly enjoy working with children and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Please feel free to reach out to me regarding resources, questions, concerns, feedback, or simply to say "Hi".
